Every year an ATP tournament takes place in Nice : the Nice open. Matches are played at the Nice LTC, not far from the Parc Impérial high school and the Russian cathedral.
Dates for 2015 : May 17th to 24th.
The Monte Carlo tennis masters has a much better level and attracts the best players in the world. Monaco is 25 km far from Nice. The matches are played in the Country club, east of the country, next to the French border. (But in Monaco, you are'nt ever really far from the border, are you?)
