Main city of the upper Tinée valley, St Etienne is also known for its Ski resort Auron.
This authentic village has several shops where hikers will be able to buy the food and other things they need. The village is still inhabited by sheperds and every year, there is a feast celebrating the move to the summer pastures.
No worthy monument to visit here, but a nice place in the mountains, and many things to do if you like sport and nature.
